This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. The role involves leading end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The project manager will manage server lifecycle initiatives such as migrations (on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to cloud, and cloud-to-cloud), end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) remediation, server builds and provisioning (Windows/Linux), and server decommissioning and data center exits. The role also includes driving cloud infrastructure implementations (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments), coordinating with architecture, security, and operations teams, and partnering with infrastructure, network, storage, security, application, and vendor teams to ensure aligned delivery. The project manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reporting, ensuring compliance with financial services governance, including risk management, audit requirements, change management, and security controls. Additionally, the role involves facilitating technical discussions, dependency management, and issue resolution across multiple stakeholders, managing project communications including executive-level updates and stakeholder briefings, and ensuring operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and handoff to support teams post implementation.
