Requirements

  • Seven or more years managing enterprise technology projects, including five or more years in infrastructure modernization
  • Experience managing several simultaneous workstreams
  • Data center migration, consolidation, upgrade or remediation experience, in particular with distributed data centers
  • Experience with segmented network design
  • Cutover planning, implementation readiness and production change management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or an equivalent field
  • Strong delivery leadership with traditional project management experience
  • Comfortable working across enterprise infrastructure, database, and architecture teams
  • Enough technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure to understand proposed changes, ask the right questions, identify upstream and downstream impacts, and communicate risks and decisions clearly to technical teams and senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a program of 5 concurrent project workstreams, ensuring delivery and coordination among them
  • Lead communication of project status and issues to multiple audiences, including working teams, key stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, dependencies, risks, and action plans
  • Drive implementation readiness and coordinate activities across application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, and other stakeholders
  • Identify upstream and downstream impacts associated with infrastructure changes
  • Obtain commitments from participating teams and follow through on actions through completion
  • Identify and escalate delivery risks, resource constraints, production impacts, and schedule concerns
  • Translate technical discussions into clear business impacts, decisions, risks, and executive level updates
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, readiness reviews, and stakeholder discussions
  • Prepare project status reporting, presentations, dashboards, and remediation updates for client leadership
  • Lead a large infrastructure modernization initiative supporting enterprise data centers and platforms.
  • Manage project execution from planning through implementation, coordinating cross functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects spanning data center infrastructure, databases, networking, security, upgrades, migrations, and remediation efforts.
  • Work across multiple technology teams and application portfolios to maintain project roadmaps and schedules, manage dependencies and risks, coordinate implementation activities, and ensure commitments and remediation items are completed on time.
  • Prioritize, communicate, and follow through on project outcomes.
