About The Position

Accenture Security is one of the fastest growing areas of our business, and our global Cyber Investigation and Forensic Response (CIFR) practice is at the heart of how we help clients prepare for, respond to, and recover from the most consequential cyber incidents. Within CIFR this role, you will serve as a hands-on technical generalist responsible for supporting a wide range of high-impact initiatives spanning digital forensics, hardware engineering, multi-cloud operations, AI enablement, and network support. The team operates across the Americas, providing expertise to multinational clients and shaping thought leadership inside and outside the firm.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of IT infrastructure experience across servers, storage, and networking
  • Minimum 2 years of incident response experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years) work experience
  • Strong foundation in Windows, Nix, and Mac operating systems

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on expertise with SAN and NAS environments
  • Proficiency across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI and others)
  • Experience with hypervisor, forensic software, and computer hardware
  • Experience building or maintaining technical runbooks for environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a hands-on technical resource during CTO-led engagements, providing capable execution across forensic imaging, hardware builds, cloud provisioning, and AI proof-of-concept work.
  • Perform forensically sound imaging and acquisition of hard drives, SSDs, and mobile devices (iOS/Android), maintaining chain-of-custody documentation and evidence-handling procedures aligned with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build, configure, troubleshoot, and repair workstations, servers, and specialized lab equipment — including component-level diagnostics, hardware lifecycle management, and secure disposal in accordance with ITSG/CCCS guidance.
  • Operate confidently across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform — including Canadian sovereign regions where data residency is required — provisioning, configuring, and securing resources to support hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
  • Support proof-of-concept builds, model evaluation, and integration of AI and LLM capabilities into internal workflows, advising the CTO team on practical applications and emerging tooling.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and document network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, routing) and support secure remote access and segmented lab environments.
  • Partner with the CTO and senior technologists on rapid prototyping, demos, and executive briefings — translating complex technical work into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders while operating with discretion and confidentiality.
