Digital Consultants seeks an Infrastructure Operations Manager to support the DISA J6 ETM 2.0 program. The Infrastructure Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance and operational readiness of Tech Control facilities and supporting infrastructure. This individual is responsible for ensuring continuous availability of secure communications across all classification levels, supervising Tier II/III teams, and maintaining compliance with DISAC 310-175-9 and related standards. The Infrastructure Operations Manager will coordinate with internal teams and senior Government stakeholders to support the operation, maintenance, and modernization of critical network assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or 5 years equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years managing and operating cryptographic facilities
  • Rapid Response Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and IAT II certification
  • Active Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible
  • Demonstrated knowledge in maintaining the operational status of a Tech Control facility
  • Knowledge of Tech Control equipment such as Switches, Encryption devices, Network Operation Consoles, and Circuits
  • Demonstrated knowledge and supervision of tech control employees in efforts similar in size and scope as referenced under this Call Order
  • Oral and written communication experience with the highest levels of management
  • Must have knowledge in operating and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions and DISAC 310-175-9
  • Can provide technical directions and supervision, in coordinating, restoring and reporting functions necessary for effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities
  • The candidate must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to sit, stand, use computers and monitors, and perform duties in an office environment for extended periods.
  • The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion (e.g., move a case of paper or similar task) that may occur on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee daily operations of the Tech Control Facility (TCF).
  • Supervise Tier 2 Helpdesk and Tier 3 technical teams to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Maintain availability of switches, encryption devices, circuits, and consoles.
  • Manage incident response, reporting, and technical issue resolution.
  • Ensure documentation, SOPs, and logs are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Provide leadership in support of transmission path maintenance and restoration.
