About The Position

This is an opportunity to join a leading heavy civil contractor delivering some of the most complex PPP and public infrastructure projects in Western Canada, based in Vancouver, BC. We are seeking an experienced Executive Project Director with a proven background leading large-scale heavy civil infrastructure programs, including bridges, tunnels, marine works, deep foundations, large excavation, and transportation infrastructure delivered under design-build and PPP (P3) models. This role is ideal for a senior construction leader who operates confidently in highly complex, multi-stakeholder environments and has successfully delivered major infrastructure projects from early pursuit and pre-construction through execution and closeout. The position offers the opportunity to take a senior leadership role on landmark infrastructure projects while influencing commercial strategy, delivery performance, and long-term regional project outcomes.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience in senior leadership roles on major infrastructure projects
  • Proven delivery of PPP (P3), design-build, and public infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, marine, deep excavation, and deep foundation scopes
  • Strong commercial leadership experience including contract management, risk allocation, financial oversight, and claims resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary project teams in complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with a track record of delivering large, technically complex civil infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for major heavy civil and PPP infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, marine works, deep excavation, and deep foundation scopes
  • Oversee full project lifecycle delivery including construction execution, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, risk management, and contract administration
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, commercial staff, and key subcontractors
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships with public owners, concessionaires, consultants, regulators, and financing partners
  • Support project pursuits including RFQs, RFPs, bid strategy, and early contractor involvement planning for future infrastructure opportunities
