About The Position

An infrastructure engineer ensures all the DBT Infrastructure systems that support business operations function efficiently. Additionally, the infrastructure engineer may also support and develop specific platforms and will concentrate on unifying communications, messaging and identity toward a seamless user experience. Provide assistance to Service Desk team as escalation point supporting ITIL model.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation, and management.
  • 5-7 years of experience with Automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code tools
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology Management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
  • A “U.S. person” according to the ITAR definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee. See 22 CFR § 120.15.
  • Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents
  • Server administration Windows and Linux deployment
  • Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day-to-day operational basis.
  • On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing
  • Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party
  • Other duties as assigned
