The Infrastructure Engineer will administer and support Dynatrace enterprise monitoring environments. This role involves designing and implementing monitoring solutions for business-critical applications and infrastructure, developing standards for monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational observability, and continuously improving enterprise monitoring coverage and accuracy. The engineer will tune alerting thresholds and event correlation to reduce false positives while ensuring timely incident detection and support enterprise observability initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms. Responsibilities also include deploying and administering Dynatrace OneAgent technologies, onboarding large-scale applications, monitoring application health, service dependencies, user experience, and transaction performance, supporting Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring implementations, analyzing application performance issues, and providing end-to-end visibility across application ecosystems. The role requires monitoring Windows, Linux, VMware, OpenShift, and cloud-hosted environments, supporting monitoring for databases, middleware, network infrastructure, storage systems, domain services, load balancers, and enterprise applications, assisting infrastructure teams with capacity planning and performance optimization, and proactively identifying monitoring gaps and service risks. Additionally, the engineer will develop custom monitoring solutions and Dynatrace Extensions 2.0, create and maintain custom SQL, Oracle, and enterprise application monitoring extensions, build dashboards, metrics, health checks, and alerting policies, automate monitoring deployment and configuration processes, and support infrastructure-as-code and configuration management initiatives.
