About The Position

This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices. This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience and working knowledge (Architecture and Operations) on most of the following technologies: Mainframe, Cloud Hosting using VMWare stack, Storage, Backup and Autosys
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build partnerships across different infrastructure owners
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet competing requirements

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth technology expertise (Architecture and Operations) on as many of the following technologies as possible: Mainframe, Cloud Hosting using VMWare stack, Storage, Backup and Autosys
  • Technology Risk Management background
  • Prior experience in conducting technology assessments
  • Prior experience supporting work related to audit and regulatory

Responsibilities

  • Confirms that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutions
  • Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains
  • Reviews and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes
  • Reviews and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption
  • Mentors and assists Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
  • Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
