About The Position

This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This role is an Operational and Engineering Support role working on messaging middleware. It plays a key role between Production and Development teams. The candidate will define, automate, and maintain support processes for data validation, entitlements integration, and upgrades. They will optimize existing solutions and architectures and contribute to the design of resilient messaging architectures for low latency/high throughput use cases. The candidate should be able to adopt new skills and be willing to upgrade their skills. Strong knowledge on Protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP, etc. is required. The candidates should be well versed in diagnosing issues and problems that arise in large multi-datacenter multi-tiered application environments. The role provides subject matter expertise and consulting services on a range of technologies, contributing to the technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions and providing feedback to the architecture teams. The candidate will follow reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to ensure the design is compliant. They will assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies. They will also assist Technical Analysts by ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards. The role involves developing software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes and supporting an inclusive and healthy working environment.

Requirements

2- 4 years’ experience working in a UNIX/Linux production environment with hundreds of hosts
Minimum 4 years’ experience programming in Perl, Python, Bash or any C derivative (C++, Java)
2 – 4 years’ Experience in data structures & databases (SQL & No SQL)
HSM support - Utimaco and Futurex
Should be able to coordinate with application and infrastructure teams during releases and implement the tasks.
Assisting with tracking and managing vendor support tickets, and be able to work with a team to triage and resolve urgent production issues
Experience with and participation in on-call support for the production environment.
Experience with troubleshooting production applications.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
Excellent documentation skills in MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project.
Knowledge and experience should include: Linux Windows General Information Security concepts.

Responsibilities

Provides subject matter expertise and consulting services on a range of technologies and assists Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
Assists with translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies
Assists in the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose
Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes
Conducts on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption
Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains
