About The Position

Catalight is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to support the design, implementation, and operation of our cloud-based infrastructure. Working under the guidance of our Principal Solutions Architect, you will focus on the hands-on delivery, maintenance, and support of our AWS environments to ensure high availability and performance. As part of the Risk & Technology department, you will play a critical role in responsibly disrupting and transforming healthcare access through robust, scalable technology solutions.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
Hands-on experience with AWS core services.
Familiarity with Terraform or similar.
Basic experience with Docker and container platforms.
Understanding of networking and cloud fundamentals.
Exposure to monitoring tools.
Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.
Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.
Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision.
Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

Familiarity with APIs or integration patterns.
Experience supporting security reviews and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
Basic understanding of microservices.
