About The Position

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations. In August 2026, MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions. The Infrastructure team within the Platform Engineering division is building an AI-native platform for internal developers, aiming to shorten the time from idea to value and maximize AI acceleration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering.
  • AI-forward: hold everything built to an AI-native standard.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP experience transfers well).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support engineering teams.
  • A strong communicator who can explain platform complexity and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
  • Expert-level English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) as code, using Terraform to keep every environment reproducible and legible.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with guardrails that make agentic releases safe by default.
  • Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
  • Maintain and evolve Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable components.
  • Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting, feeding signal back into AI-assisted remediation and define clear alert ownership.
  • Harden infrastructure security, including image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configuration.
  • Partner closely with product engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs.
  • Enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
