About The Position

OWN, Inc. is seeking a Civil Designer to help develop infrastructure projects supporting communities. The position works alongside engineers, surveyors, and project teams to create plans for roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other infrastructure improvements, from initial concepts through construction-ready plans. Designers develop work under the guidance of licensed engineers and support projects through construction while managing deadlines and multiple priorities. Requirements

• Experience in civil engineering or design is a plus; willingness to learn and grow is essential.
• Familiarity with or an interest in learning civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, CivilStorm, or HEC-RAS.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized across multiple projects.
• A collaborative mindset, good communication skills, and an interest in infrastructure design projects.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in civil engineering or design.
• Familiarity with civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, CivilStorm, or HEC-RAS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering drawings and design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and site plans under the guidance of licensed engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to turn design concepts into construction-ready plans.
• Review survey data, design details, and project requirements to ensure accurate, high-quality work.
• Support projects from initial design through construction while managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
