Job Title: Infrastructure Change Manager Location: Ft Gregg-Adams (must be local within 50 miles) Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Infrastructure Change Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the program enterprise infrastructure. This includes VMs, servers, storage, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, Azure migration experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to work both regular and afterhours/weekend shifts as required. DoD IT experience a plus, Secret Clearance a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/Change infrastructure management experience for mid-size datacenters
  • Vendor management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise servers, storage, and security protocols (Windows, Linux, SQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective infrastructure strategies, to include process documentation, policies, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Vendor management skills: Proven experience in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Must be compliant with DoD 8140 standards or obtain compliance certifications within 90 days

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise infrastructure for program.
  • Monitor, build, decom systems, servers, storage, and other infrastructure components between both onprem and SaaS infrastructure datacenters for DOD Client.
  • Build and manage project schedules to include vendor management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Enterprise infrastructure to include VMs, servers, storage, cloud and other infrastructure components.
  • Review system alerts, escalate and follow up as required for operational stability. System is managed 24x7x365 in all time zones.
  • Create detailed work plans and schedules for OS upgrades, DB migrations, Datacenter shutdown activities, and other infrastructure related projects as needed.
  • Manage weekly ACAS reports and tickets, follow up on all SOC tickets for remediation, and work with IA and Integratino teams to ensure DOD security standards (RMF, STIGS,etc) are enforced within the managed Lab, Production and COOP environments.
  • Work with teams and Vendor to regularly assess the performance of infrastructure components and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment between multiple teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Manage the infrastructure budget, to include software and hardware upgrades/refresh requests with customer.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality support and services.
  • Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with Department of Defense (DoD) contract requirements.
  • Develop annual patching schedules for all enterprise and store level components.
  • Participate and manage maintenance windows to ensure minimal disruption and optimal system performance.
  • Ensure all systems are operational before end of maintenance windows and manage customer communication.
  • Prepare and present monthly program Change Control Board.
  • Prepare, present and attend customer CAB reviews as required.
