This is more than a maintenance position - it’s an opportunity to play an essential role in keeping the City’s roads, sidewalks, buildings, parks, infrastructure, and public spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained. If you have a “can-do” attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in quality workmanship, and are ready for a hands-on career where no two days are exactly alike, we want to hear from you. The Infrastructure & Building Maintenance Laborer performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, repair, and labor activities in support of the City’s Public Works operations. This position carries out the maintenance and repair of City infrastructure, roads, sidewalks, rights-of-way, buildings, parks, and other public facilities; operates hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment; and responds to routine and emergency maintenance needs, including weather-related events. The work requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, quality workmanship, and responsive service to the community.
