About The Position

On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer. This role involves modernizing infrastructure management across cloud and on-premises environments by replacing fragile procedures with tested automation. The goal is to provide operations teams with clearer, repeatable ways to deliver change. The platform is treated as a service used by engineers and business teams. Success will be measured through safer change, lower operational friction, and clearer ownership rather than the number of tools introduced. The work combines planned platform development with the investigation of real production behavior. You will collaborate with application teams, security, and operations, using their feedback to decide what should become a shared service, an automated control, or clear documentation. Ownership continues after the first release. You will receive meaningful ownership while working with senior colleagues on the most consequential decisions. The partner expects you to deliver independently within a clear area, ask for context early, and contribute ideas grounded in what you observe. There is room to deepen your specialization or broaden toward adjacent responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or Python.
• Good Windows or Linux administration fundamentals.
• Understanding of networks, identity, and infrastructure services.
• Experience using Git and automated delivery pipelines.
• Ability to document and communicate operational change.
• Professional English and methodical problem solving.

Nice To Haves

• VMware, Nutanix or public cloud platforms.
• Policy as code and automated compliance.
• Migration from ticket driven infrastructure processes.

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning and configuration using code.
• Create reusable modules, roles, and pipeline workflows.
• Integrate infrastructure changes with review and testing practices.
• Improve inventory, secrets, and environment consistency.
• Support Windows and Linux services across hybrid estates.
• Investigate failures and remove their recurring causes.
