About The Position

Infra Managed Service Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; Morristown, NJ): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Infra Managed Service Senior Manager in Morristown, NJ, and the job duties are as follows: Design and define enterprise database architecture strategies to ensure scalability, security, and compliance across all organizational systems; establish standards for data modeling and integration. Develop and implement security and governance frameworks for database systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely mitigation of vulnerabilities. Oversee testing and performance optimization of database solutions, approving design modifications based on performance metrics and business objectives rather than performing hands-on coding. Act as the principal subject matter expert on database architecture, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders and influencing decisions on enterprise data platforms. Lead resolution of critical database-related incidents and escalations, implementing preventive measures and guiding teams to maintain system reliability and availability. Prepare and present financial forecasts and investment plans for database infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and cost efficiency. Direct workforce planning and performance management for database architecture teams, conducting leadership reviews and aligning resources to strategic priorities. Advise senior leadership on emerging database technologies, including cloud migration strategies and automation opportunities, to inform enterprise modernization roadmaps. Collaborate with system architects and solution leaders to design integrated data solutions that support digital transformation and modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field
• 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT Infrastructure Delivery industry
• 7 years of experience in Managing datacenters, database technologies, and cloud Services across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• 7 years of experience Utilizing Service Level Management, ITIL processes, and ServiceNow
• 7 years of experience Conducting financial forecasting, costing, pricing and managing overall profitability
• 7 years of experience Serving as a subject matter expert in Oracle and SQL database technologies within datacenter and cloud environments
• 7 years of experience Driving key architectural and design decisions for on-premise infrastructure, public, and private cloud solutions, utilizing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• 7 years of experience Managing infrastructure strategies and migration projects, including business case development and executing migrations to on-premise, public cloud, and SaaS environments
• 7 years of experience Recommending improvements for ongoing performance issues during infrastructure assessments and migrations
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs
