About The Position

Join Intel as a DevOps Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern and play a pivotal role in supporting Engineering Computing infrastructure and platforms. This opportunity allows you to contribute to server support, automation, monitoring, and deployment workflows, working alongside experienced IT professionals. Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of automation and DevOps methodologies.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for task automation.
Understanding of source control management tools and processes.
Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting techniques.

Passion for learning, especially in the field of information technology and software engineering.
Interest in working in dynamic environments focused on ensuring the stability, availability, and security of software infrastructure.
Exposure to Microsoft System Center tools (e.g., SCOM, SCCM, Virtual Machine Manager) or related concepts like monitoring, configuration management, and virtualization.
Experience with automation tools or scripting languages is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Support and contribute to the setup and optimization of Intel's design environment.
Assist in automation of tasks, CI/CD practices, and deployment workflows to enhance reliability and scalability.
Engage in troubleshooting, server capacity planning, and monitoring to maintain system stability.
Participate in scripting and source control management to streamline operational tasks.
Provide ticket support and resolve technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
