About The Position

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. The Information Systems Division, End User Support 1 Unit is currently seeking a dedicated Information Technology Supervisor II to join our team! This position plays a key role leading a team of IT support specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise daily operations of IT support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues. • Promotes a team environment centered on collaboration and customer service. • Outage coordination, including communication with stakeholders and technical teams. • Provide support for hardware, software, and network issues as needed. • Maintain inventory of IT assets and oversee lifecycle management. • Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate technology upgrades and deployments.   • Experience in supervising IT support staff directly and indirectly.
  • Work experience and/or education in information technology troubleshooting.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and directing unit operations.
  • Skilled in overseeing and executing implementation and incident management for desktop and mobile support.
  • Experience with maintaining compliance with IT hardware/software standards.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
