Job Summary: Maintenance and support of the computer and network hardware, infrastructure and supported applications which may include telecommunication systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more,) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
  • None REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

  • Works under the guidance of the Senior Analyst, Technical Support, to provide support and participate in project activities.
  • Responsible for facility IS duties, minor hardware/software configuration, and repairs.
  • Installs, repairs, modifies, maintains, and provides technical support for applications, PC operating systems, PC hardware, printers,s and related peripherals.
  • Provides operational and administrative support; testing, printing, and report distribution, backups, first-line support, etc.
  • Utilizes the service ticketing system to log reported issues, document resolution, and/or assign to the appropriate work group.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
