About The Position

The IT Site Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT infrastructure and workplace technology improvement projects at the site level. This role focuses on enhancing end-user experience, connectivity, collaboration tools, and overall site technology performance. Typical projects include WiFi optimization, cellular coverage improvements, conference room modernization, network upgrades, structured cabling improvements, endpoint rollouts, and other site-based IT enhancements. This individual will act as the primary liaison between local site leadership, corporate IT teams, vendors, and facilities to ensure successful project delivery with minimal business disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Experience managing infrastructure or site-based technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of: Enterprise WiFi systems, Network infrastructure, AV/conference room technology, Telecom coordination
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong budgeting and vendor management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience in large campus or multi-building environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards and low-voltage infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing a PLUS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of site IT improvement projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Manage scope, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assess and remediate WiFi performance and coverage gaps.
  • Partner with telecom providers to address cellular coverage issues.
  • Lead modernization of conference rooms (AV systems, Teams/Zoom rooms, digital displays).
  • Oversee network infrastructure upgrades and structured cabling initiatives.
  • Support deployment of new IT systems and hardware at the site.
  • Serve as the primary IT contact for site leadership.
  • Translate technical requirements into business-friendly communication.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Drive user adoption and ensure positive end-user experience.
  • Manage vendor selection, SOW reviews, and contract execution.
  • Track project budgets and forecast costs.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and IT governance standards.
  • Ensure projects align with corporate IT architecture and security policies.
  • Coordinate with InfoSec and Network teams when required.
  • Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and configuration records.
