About The Position

This role requires a strong background in Cisco Network Security, including Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Cisco Firewall Management (FirePower). The consultant will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading Cisco networks, including routers and switches, and ensuring network security by updating and configuring virus protection software and other programs. A key responsibility includes applying Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and adhering to Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies. The position also involves designing and planning networks for Cisco NEXUS switches and requires experience with Firepower Device Manager and/or Firepower Management Center Platforms. Additionally, the consultant must be proficient in configuring Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches and utilizing network monitoring and management tools such as Cisco and Solarwinds.

Requirements

• Strong background in Cisco Network Security.
• Experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA).
• Experience with Cisco Firewall Management (FirePower).
• Experience with Firepower Device Manager and/or Firepower Management Center Platforms.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco/Solarwinds).
