About The Position

Energetiq is seeking an IT& Security Senior Manager to lead enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and data initiatives in a high‑IP, manufacturing and engineering environment. This role owns both day‑to‑day IT operations and enterprise risk reduction, with a strong focus on security, governance, vendor‑led programs, and legacy system modernization. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for stabilizing and advancing critical infrastructure, identity, compliance, and data programs while leading a small internal IT team and multiple external partners. The ideal candidate will also have a good mix of strategic thinking and project management skills, as well as the ability to execute technical tasks. You will succeed in this role if you are motivated by superior service delivery and enabling the organization through new technology ideas.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, identity, and enterprise infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience developing IT policies, procedures, and governance
  • Experience managing vendor‑led implementations and MSP relationships
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives in technical environments

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, engineering, or high‑tech industry experience
  • Exposure to ERP environments (SAP, Syspro, or similar)
  • Familiarity with data platforms, cloud services, and analytics ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve Energetiq’s enterprise security posture across identity, access management, email, endpoints, and monitoring
  • Lead security control implementation and remediation (MFA, conditional access, logging, penetration testing)
  • Establish and enforce IT security policies, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Partner with Engineering, R&D, and Operations on internal and product‑related cybersecurity and compliance requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, standards, and operating procedures
  • Establish clear documentation, runbooks, ownership models, and escalation paths
  • Ensure consistent application of policies across infrastructure, cloud services, data, and end‑user computing
  • Reduce reliance on tribal knowledge through process discipline and documentation
  • Provide ownership of enterprise systems, data platforms, analytics environments, and system migrations
  • Drive shutdown of unsupported or high‑risk legacy systems
  • Partner cross-functionally on ERP-related data initiatives and system transitions
  • Define and enforce data governance, access, and retention practices
  • Ensure reliability and lifecycle management of networks, servers, backups, and core infrastructure
  • Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning for all technology and information systems
  • Ensure backup, recovery, and contingency plans are documented, tested, and maintained
  • Reduce single points of failure and operational risk
  • Lead vendor and MSP oversight for cloud, security, and integration partners
  • Drive accountability, issue resolution, and completion of in‑flight projects
  • Transition work from external providers where appropriate
  • Lead and develop internal IT staff
  • Identify critical skill gaps and talent risks
  • Partner with Finance on IT budgeting, renewals, vendor spend, and cost controls
  • Establish operational discipline around subscriptions, assets, and cloud cost
