About The Position

The Information Technology Project Manager’s (ITPM) role is to support and maintain all mission critical administrative software applications while maximizing usage and functionality across campus. This is accomplished by monitoring, updating, testing and troubleshooting applications, as well as providing necessary training and user support. The ITPM will also review upcoming product changes, upgrades, or other similar products to ensure RMCAD is efficiently reaching both IT and Business Objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years working in an IT/Support environment.
  • Resource knowledge including Active Directory, storage architectures, Microsoft Server packages, and Google services.
  • Broad skill set with and understanding in database applications, system analysis, project management, technical wiring, information management, and print management systems.
  • Candidates should be calm, resourceful, considerate, patient, and willing to put team members above themselves to succeed at projects in place.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Employee must be able to hear, see, and accurately describe various troubleshooting related scenarios.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL a plus.
  • Experience providing IT solutions in an Academic environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Project Manager for all Administrative software configurations, system/data clean-up, implementations, and upgrades.
  • Provides department reviews on Administrative software usage and makes recommendations.
  • Test new versions of Administrative software applications prior to implementation.
  • Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products or current application upgrades.
  • Correct errors and make necessary modifications once installation/upgrade is complete.
  • Review upgrade/installation with department end users and ensure new functionality is implemented.
  • Provide training and support to end users as needed.
  • Monitors performance of all Administrative software applications supporting the RMCAD Campus including the LMS, SIS (Nexus Student), and any other 3rd party applications used by RMCAD Staff and Faculty. Such applications include, but not limited to: Salesforce, CampusNexus Portal, UKG, Zendesk, and Great Plains.
  • Maintains relationships with LMS, SIS, and 3rd Party software application’s technical and student support personnel.
  • Technical support liaison, for LMS and SIS, with EFA, Full Sail University, and Campus Management.
  • Account and user management of 3rd party software.
  • Develops training materials and support for all end users.
  • Facilitates Staff and Faculty training sessions for all Administrative software applications as needed.
  • Provides support to end users via RMCAD’s Support Desk, over email, and in person as needed.
  • Quantitative and Qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as detailed in Departmental Quarterly Review Meetings (QRMs).
  • Regular participation in and contribution to departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Process (Collaboration, Innovation, Prioritization of Individual Tasks, Action).
