About The Position

The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for keeping the company’s technology running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This role oversees the IT team, manages our computer systems and software, and makes sure employees have the tools they need to do their jobs. This is an internal role focused on supporting our staff and keeping our technology reliable and secure at Centella.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Experience helping roll out or manage business software systems.
  • Good understanding of networks, servers, and cloud services like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused industry is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with data privacy and security rules (such as HIPAA) is helpful.
  • Experience managing an IT budget and working with outside vendors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or healthcare technology environments.
  • Familiarity with common business software like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
  • Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting company growth or office expansions from an IT perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our IT team, including the helpdesk, network, servers, computers, and cloud services, making sure everything runs reliably and employees get timely support.
  • Develop and maintain a practical technology plan that supports company goals, keeps our systems up to date, and identifies opportunities to improve or simplify how we use technology.
  • Oversee the rollout and ongoing management of business software systems, making sure projects stay on track, within budget, and that employees are trained and ready before go-live.
  • Manage the relationship with third-party IT service providers, including service expectations, contract negotiations, performance monitoring, issue escalation, and ongoing coordination to ensure timely, high-quality support aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain backups and a clear recovery plan so the business can keep running if something goes wrong with our systems; test these plans at least once a year.
  • Monitor system performance and respond quickly when IT issues arise, identifying the root cause to prevent problems from happening again.
  • Create and enforce basic security policies to protect company data, meet industry regulations, and make sure employees know how to stay safe online.
  • Stay current on compliance requirements relevant to our industry and serve as the IT point of contact during internal and external audits.
  • Manage the IT budget, track all company devices and software licenses, and keep accurate records of our technology assets.
  • Lead, support, and develop the IT team; set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and work closely with other departments to understand and meet their technology needs.
