About The Position

The IT Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and securing all information technology operations for Paradigm Max Q LLC. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and compliance of IT systems in support of corporate operations and government contract requirements. The IT Manager will oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, and IT support while ensuring alignment with federal standards such as NIST, CMMC, and DFARS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience in a government contracting or DoD environment
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC)
• Experience managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise IT systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
• Advise leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportunities
• Lead IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• Ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and other federal cybersecurity requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls
• Manage risk assessments, incident response, and continuous monitoring
• Serve as the primary point of contact for audits and security reviews
• Oversee network infrastructure, cloud environments (e.g., Azure/AWS), and on-prem systems
• Ensure system availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities
• Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
• Maintain secure configurations and patch management processes
• Lead day-to-day IT operations, including help desk and end-user support
• Establish and monitor SLAs and performance metrics
• Manage hardware/software procurement, licensing, and asset tracking
• Ensure onboarding/offboarding processes meet security and operational standards
• Build and manage internal IT staff or contractors as the company grows
• Provide mentorship, training, and performance management
• Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement
