About The Position

Allocate is transforming private market investing by enabling RIAs and family offices to seamlessly discover, model, and manage their private market exposure. Our platform combines curated fund and co-investment opportunities with institutional-grade infrastructure, serving clients across venture capital, private equity, private credit, and other private asset classes — backed by powerful tracking, analytics, and administration tools. We are seeking a dedicated IT Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage system upgrades, resolve user queries, and optimize our technology infrastructure to align with business goals. As an integral part of our operations, you will drive efficiency and innovation while safeguarding our digital assets. If you are passionate about technology and thrive on IT driven innovation, we encourage you to apply. We offer a collaborative work culture, meaningful opportunities for professional development, and a competitive benefits package. This is a generalist IT role with meaningful depth expectations across three core areas: day-to-day troubleshooting and end-user support; systems and infrastructure management spanning SaaS, IdP, and MDM; and security-adjacent operations supporting our SOC 2 compliance posture. You will serve as the primary internal IT point of contact for an in-office and remote workforce of 80+ employees, while also coordinating execution with our managed service partner (MSP) on infrastructure and support tasks. Security is not a separate workstream in this role, it is the operating standard applied to every IT task, from provisioning to asset management to vendor coordination. The right candidate moves fluidly between tactical support tickets and strategic systems work, brings a security-aware mindset to everything they do, and is energized by operating in a fast-moving, high-growth fintech environment.
