About The Position

The IT Program Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring plans, budgets, and timelines are executed effectively from requirements through post-production support. The position oversees cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders while owning the program roadmap, sprint planning, release governance, and backlog prioritization to keep initiatives aligned with business goals. Strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on project execution are central to driving successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

Requirements

  • Work experience in IT project management
  • Strong familiarity with Workday, Oracle and integrations to other Cloud applications (i.e. Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Good understanding of HRIS (Human Resources Information) system, ERP (Enterprise Cloud Resource Planning) system
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Strong ability to work within a team setting
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Good coordinating and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
  • Five or more years managing Salesforce developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional technical teams
  • Seven or more years of experience as an IT Program Manager
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with Oracle Fusion, Workday, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, or related discipline

  • Salesforce certifications and/or PMP preferred
  • Can be a combination of education, training, certifications and relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the activities of different project teams and ensure project plans are established and executed
  • Review and/or approve adjustments in project costs
  • Schedule and oversee meetings for IT projects
  • Make sure IT project is being executed and carried out
  • Oversee the recruitment of qualified persons that will work on each team
  • Mentoring and managing a small team
  • Work with vendors where necessary to ensure project plans are delivered on time and on budget
  • Manage communications with business users and setting accurate expectations for IT projects

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle: requirements, architecture review, build, SIT/UAT coordination, deployment, and post-production support
