About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, and cybersecurity. The IT Intern will work closely with our IT team to troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system upgrades, and support daily IT operations. Program Details: 12-week program focused on various departments within our information technology teams. The intern will complete a group project alongside fellow interns from other departments. This role is in person 5 days a week at our office in North Scottsdale.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure a plus.
• Experience with scripting language PowerShell is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best-practices.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support IT staff with system installations, configurations, and updates.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support to employees.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
• Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives by monitoring security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in IT projects such as software implementation, network upgrades, and data migration.
