As an Information Technology Intern, you will assist in various IT projects and gain knowledge and experience about the function of our DNA Applications Team in the Credit Union. At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include: Assisting with various IT projects and tasks to gain understanding of how technology is implemented and used within the organization. Gaining hands-on practical experience of IT department responsibilities, providing tier three technical support to deliver appropriate issue resolution. Learning and developing the essential IT skills around troubleshooting, testing system updates, fixing bugs, and communicating your findings with others. Auditing various systems and user configurations as assigned. Documenting and communicating audit results with manager and working with a team to correct any findings. Performing special projects as determined by IT Management. Participating in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss projects and issues to be resolved. Before you apply, make sure you have: Begun working toward an IT degree at an accredited college or university. Excellent data processing and computer skills. The ability to dedicate 15-25 hours per week to this intern program. The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records. This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
