About The Position

Veneer Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated, intellectually driven Entry-Level IT Developer or IT Intern to join our team. We’re looking for fresh talent who is eager to learn, solve problems, and grow their skills in a hands-on environment. Candidates with a foundation in Computer Science and exposure to SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, Visual Basic, or mobile development are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates and junior-level candidates looking to build their IT careers are welcome! This position requires full time, in-person work in Newport, North Carolina.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience
Proficiency in SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Visual Basic.
Experience in mobile development.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java, JavaScript, C#, and Visual Basic.
Design and implement mobile applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones
Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Assist in database design, optimization, and management using SQL.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Other duties as assigned
