About The Position

This role serves as a critical bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational and mission requirements. The Information Technology & Data Analyst will support enterprise IT systems and leverage data to drive informed decision-making across the organization. The position involves analyzing structured and unstructured data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating these findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Support will be provided through reporting, modeling, and visualization, including the design and maintenance of interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI. The role also includes developing lightweight tools, scripts, or workflows to automate data processing and reporting, and improving existing systems and processes for efficiency, scalability, and usability. Analyzing business and operational requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions is key, as is supporting the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of IT systems and applications. The analyst will monitor system performance and data quality, identify issues, and recommend improvements. Interpreting policies, requirements, and standards and translating them into data collection and reporting needs, while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory requirements, are also core functions. Participation in risk, change, and configuration management activities, working with systems, databases, and APIs to extract and integrate data, and supporting system upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh efforts are expected. The role also involves performing queue and task management activities for classified systems and developing and maintaining system documentation, procedures, and user guides. Collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, and providing technical and data-related guidance to users and leadership are essential.
