About The Position

ProSync is seeking a passionate Information Technology Assurance Specialist I to provide day‑to‑day support to highly sensitive programs and environments involving Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. The role supports protected directorates and operational units and requires strong technical, analytical, and security expertise in dynamic, high‑security environments. This position offers a salary in the range of $100k-115k based on numerous factors, including degree and overall experience. Requirements

  • 2+ years of related professional experience working in SCI or SAP environments.
  • A minimum of 1 year of SAP‑specific experience is highly preferred.
  • An IAT level II certification or equivalent (OR) the ability to obtain it within 6 months of the date of hire. (e.g. Security+, CCNA Security, SSCP, GSEC, CISSP, CISA, SecurityX (CASP), etc.)
  • A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline (OR) in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure secure and reliable operation of specialized information systems, maintain accreditation packages, execute security reviews, and provide hands‑on system administration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
  • Establish and manage complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces.
  • Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access tools, security monitoring systems, and required documentation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare systems for operational use and support system testing activities.
  • Perform hardware/software configuration, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Provide support for video teleconference (VTC) systems including scheduling and configuration.
  • Provide support for guest networks and client connectivity.
  • Review, prepare, and update accreditation packages for automated information systems (AIS).
  • Conduct AIS self‑inspections and report changes that may impact accreditation.
  • Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement corrective countermeasures.
  • Ensure all systems and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of according to security policies and practices.
  • Perform account creation, modification, and deletion.
  • Provide help desk support and troubleshooting for end‑users.
  • Support personal‑issue laptops and workstation hardware.
  • Provide security coordination for system testing plans.
  • Manage media control and accountability.
  • Manage communication security (COMSEC) equipment and documentation.
  • Follow established security standards, policies, and implementation guidance relevant to protected information systems.
