Information Systems Support Manager Stauffers of Kissel Hill has a career opportunity for the ideal candidate to join our IS team at the Corporate Office. This is a full time position at our Corporate Office, requiring Monday thru Friday with evening and weekends, as necessary. This individual must have a managerial perspective to Information Technology with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and have a strong troubleshooting background to join our growing team. Requirements

  • Abibility to work an average of 45-50 hours per week and adjust schedule to work load.
  • Ability to operate company vehicle in order to travel to all locations.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manage Engine (Service Desk Pro), Epicor Eagle and RORC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor and supervise a team of IS Specialists.
  • Respsonsible for the help desk, after hours and weekend on-call staffing and schedule.
  • Answers team member inquiries concerning systems operation.
  • Diagnoses problems as they occur. Performs remedial actions or refers major repairs to service personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining the financial performance of the department including billing, processing vendor invoices and assisting with annual budgeting.
  • Responsible for delivering performance reivews of direct reports and report training or performance issues to the IS Manager.
  • Communicates with Human Resources and IS Manager regarding open requisitions, needed advertising, and other recruitment issues.
  • Inspects information systems-related hardware and peripherals, determines user requirements and prepares items for delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage quarterly and annual projects.
  • Performs regular maintenance and service of IS equipment.
  • Evaluates and installs required software packages on devices and servers.
  • Replaces or patches defective or inadequate software packages.
  • Track and manage help desk metrics and service levels.
  • Maintains office and equipment storage areas.
  • Liason with other departments regarding their technical needs and issues.
  • Tests hardware and software to evaluate ease of use and whether the product will aid users in performing work. Writes evaluation and recommendation for management review.
  • Writes or revises user manuals and precedures. Assits users in learning procedures and sources of errors.
  • Coordinates and assists with regularly scheduled inventories (Twice a year)
