About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to support JWICS for the wing as the main objective. The position is part of the Air Force Weapons contract effort at the 350th/SWW on Eglin AFB, Florida. Under general direction, the ISSO carries out phases of the information systems and networks security program involving access to computers and computerized data, helping the company meet contractual network security requirements. The role requires a final DoW Top Secret clearance at hire and throughout employment, and travel of 10–20%.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; 12 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
At least 10 years of relevant experience.
Must maintain a DoW 8140 / 8570.01-M certification, with Security+ CE as the minimum.
Final DoW Top Secret clearance required at hire and must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular audits to ensure systems are operated securely and security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans.
Develop, update, and manage Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages and maintain system records in eMASS.
Execute continuous monitoring strategies, including reviewing audit logs, analyzing vulnerability scans, and verifying system configuration baselines.
Implement, enforce, and assess NIST SP 800-53 security controls; apply and verify DISA STIGs and SRGs.
Use ACAS to scan for and identify system vulnerabilities and coordinate their remediation.
Identify, report, and track cybersecurity incidents and data spills in accordance with USAF and DoW directives.
Draft, review, and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), track POA&Ms, and maintain system-specific operating procedures.
Apply knowledge of the NIST RMF lifecycle, DoDI 8510.01, and USAF-specific guidance, including AFI 17-101.
