About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team and take ownership of ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security policies, managing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will work closely with other IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop security protocols, and monitor systems for potential security threats. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents. Requirements

• Proficiency in security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, antivirus)
• Experience with incident response and handling breaches
• Strong understanding of encryption methods and protocols
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Ability to conduct network security analysis
• Full U.S. Citizenship
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud security models
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM)
• Familiarity with penetration testing tools
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• Proficiency in scripting for security automation (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with security audits and assessments
