About The Position

FEDITC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Pearl Harbor Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii. This role supports the 91 COS with an operational requirement for the development, maintenance, and instruction of standardized cyber operations utilizing TNO platforms in support of Combatant Commanders globally. The goal is to provide operations personnel with detailed training courses to enhance MQT of crewmembers, familiarizing them with TNO operations using present and future platforms. The courseware depth will be relevant to crew responsibilities and will increase with each level of instruction. This task also assists cyberspace operations special access program (SAP)-related efforts for planning requirements, community coordination, policy, and doctrine.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI Clearance and United States Citizenship are required.
Willing to take Polygraph & comply with SAP Requirements.
Five plus (5+) years of experience working in Information System Security.
Minimum two (2) years working with Risk Management Framework.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of system security operations.
Expert knowledge of System Security best practices.
IAT LVL II certification.
Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).

Responsibilities

Perform Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) duties.
Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to attain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC).
Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages.
Notify customer when changes occur that might affect AIS accreditation/certification.
Perform AIS self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plans.
Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
Represent the customer on various technical review and inspection teams.
Conduct security surveys at subordinate facilities and gather pertinent security documentation for inclusion into system accreditation packages.
Coordinate, prepare, and track AIS inspections, reports, and responses.
Maintain AIS security records and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating in government facilities.
Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.
Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices.
Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers.
Assist Department of Defense, National Agency and Contractor organizations with the development of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts.
Review, track, and conduct AIS training.
Produce RMF packages for higher headquarters review and approval.
