TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years’ experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience must include at least two (2) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher is required.
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Secure Technical Environment (STE) and Secure Transfer Node (STN) requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of threat intelligence.
  • Serve as the primary security steward for one or more mission critical information systems, responsible for ensuring that all assigned systems remain compliant with applicable federal, DoD, and Agency security requirements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and assess security documentation.
  • Coordinate certification & accreditation activities.
  • Serve as the key liaison between system owners, senior government officials, and technical teams.
  • Experience creating, updating, and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs).
  • Managing Secure Technical Environment (STE) and Secure Transfer Node (STN) requirements within SSPs.
  • Maintain waivers and support STE/STN compliance activities.
  • Certifying systems and supporting SSP re accreditation processes.
  • Working with Designated System Owners (DSOs).
  • Briefing senior government and technical leaders.
