Requirements

Experience supporting major federal information systems and applications
Experience with security tools, hardware, software security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques and tools
Experience developing Risk Management products and working through system accreditations
Experience interfacing with information assurance managers, including reviewing documentation, SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, or Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Experience working with XACTA IA Manager and Risk Management Frameworks
Experience with national security information system security requirements, including JSIG, ICD 503, DAAPM, or NISPOM
Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment and Authorization processes or C&A
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in Information Systems Security, or 14+ years of experience in Information Systems Security in lieu of a degree
DoD 8570 IAM Level I Certification

Responsibilities

Identify the security system needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy.
Lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using knowledge of security devices and implementation.
Use curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions.
Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls using knowledge and experience in Information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Closely impact the Department of Defense (DoD) by supporting our country.
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Implement infrastructure and system security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
