About The Position

SAIC is seeking a qualified and experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to fill a critical role in the Army Intelligence Enterprise. This position will be located on site at Ft Belvoir, VA. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for evaluating and implementing customer requirements supporting complex technical platforms supporting the Intelligence Community. A successful candidate will provide solutions to complex problems in a manner that meets both functional and security requirements on multiple classified and unclassified domains. You will be responsible for keeping the team’s computing environment operational and compliant with all directive and applicable Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. To accomplish this, you will frequently collaborate with other team members to ensure system compliance, implement future enhancements, and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate blends a strong background in systems administration and cybersecurity with strong critical thinking skills and a deep commitment to customer success. This individual possesses experience in Windows and Linux server management, Active Directory, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and virtualization technologies. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) / Department of War (DoW) environment.
