About The Position

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) is a Government contractor providing services and solutions in National Security Programs, Professional, Administrative, and Management Support, and Mission and Warfighter Support. They are a Small Business Administration certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This position is a full-time, contingent role located in Cheyenne, WY, requiring a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, SAP Information eligibility, and consent for a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience OR Associate degree and 4-7 years of related experience OR 6-9 years of related experience without a degree.
  • Related experience especially in developing RMF packages or body of evidence.
  • Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO.
  • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level II or Information Assurance Manager II within 6 months of the date of hire.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system.
  • Managing the security aspects of an information system, including day-to-day security operations.
  • Overseeing physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness.
  • Working in close coordination with the ISSM and ISO in monitoring information system(s) and their environment of operation.
  • Developing and updating authorization documentation.
  • Implementing configuration management across authorization boundaries.
  • Assessing the security impact of changes and making recommendations to the ISSM.
  • Working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
  • Providing day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
  • Developing physical or logical topologies for a system.
  • Assisting the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating authorization packages.
  • Ensuring approved procedures are in place for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying various types of hardware and media.
  • Conducting periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package.
  • Coordinating any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
  • Monitoring system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly.
  • Ensuring all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Ensuring audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (to include any anomalies).
  • Attending required technical and security training relative to assigned duties.
  • Executing the cyber security portion of the self-inspection, including providing security coordination and review of all system assessment plans.
  • Identifying cyber security vulnerabilities and assisting with the implementation of countermeasures.
  • Preparing reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.
  • Performing ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers.
  • Conducting security impact analysis activities and providing to the ISSM on all configuration management changes to the authorization boundaries.
