About The Position

Nexagen Networks is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager, Senior to lead and oversee Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity compliance efforts across assigned programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation of IA policies, vulnerability management, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes in support of mission-critical systems within a secure DoD environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the organization’s lead in enforcing cybersecurity standards, coordinating with system stakeholders, and ensuring all information systems maintain compliance with DoD and Army regulations. This position requires strong expertise in risk analysis, system accreditation, and cybersecurity architecture within complex government environments.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity or information assurance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • IAM Level III Certification required
  • Experience as an RMF Cyber Analyst is required
  • Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF processes, and system accreditation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience working with system security design, vulnerability management, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead for dissemination and implementation of Information Assurance (IA) policies, guidance, and training requirements
  • Ensure full implementation of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program, including reporting and compliance procedures
  • Perform risk analyses and risk assessments to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats
  • Ensure all Information Systems (IS) are certified and accredited in accordance with DoD and Army regulations and policies
  • Coordinate with system developers to obtain security design, configuration, enclave boundary defense, and required RMF documentation
  • Maintain compliant cybersecurity architecture across assigned systems with minimal supervision
  • Ensure adherence to contract performance work statement requirements and delivery of secure, compliant systems
  • Support vulnerability management, incident response documentation, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Participate in 25% CONUS and OCONUS travel to conduct site visits, witness testing, and support system implementation and deployments
