About The Position

Perform technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability and non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards. Validate and verify system security requirements, establish system security designs, and build security architectures across multi-enclave environments. Support security authorization activities in compliance with DoD RMF, NIST RMF, and NISCAP processes. Serve as the primary security engineering representative on project teams for designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. Design system and network solutions that encompass multiple enclaves, including those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Support the Government in enforcing trusted relationships among external systems and architectures. Apply security engineering expertise across system integration, cross-domain solutions, COTS/GOTS cryptography, PKI, intrusion detection, and access/control mechanisms. Perform security planning, risk analysis, risk management, threat mitigation, and review C&A documentation for completeness.
