About The Position

As an Information System Security Officer, you will work with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are implemented to reduce risk. You will identify cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans. Working with subject-matter experts and engineers, you will gather technical, environmental, and personnel details to assess the threat landscape and help guide clients through a plan of action. You will translate security concepts for clients so they can make informed decisions to secure mission-critical systems in the aerospace industry.

Requirements

• Experience as an Information System Security Officer.
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and NIST 800-53.
• Ability to articulate security requirements and concerns to a variety of stakeholders.
• Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience identifying gaps in security postures and proposing solutions.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Bachelor’s degree.
