This role involves hands-on cybersecurity support for implementing and enforcing Information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. It also includes assisting with the preparation and maintenance of documentation and systems for security accreditations. The position requires thinking outside the box to evolve and support the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Additionally, the role involves proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, as well as developing and updating the system security plan and other IA documentation. Confidence to work on enterprise-scale cybersecurity systems and drive positive impact is essential.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or other related field
  • 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level I is required
  • Security + Certification is required
  • Ten (10) years’ experience is required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with others to determine root cause.
  • Strong communication and requirements solicitation skills. Translate from technical development teams to end user customers and vice versa in capturing meaningful metrics and monitoring baselines and helping lead adaptations to those baselines over time to best meet customer needs.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

  • Hands on cybersecurity support for implementing and enforcing Information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
