About The Position

Summit Federal Services, LLC (SFS) is seeking an Information System Security Officer to provide support to the CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. This role is crucial for supporting the CBL mission, which involves dynamic network experimentation integrated with various defense systems (CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA) through the Cyber Battle Lab's Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army Persistent Experimentation eNvironment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC). The contract requires support in experiments, assessments, analyses, and network support to validate new technical solutions for capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA modernization lines of effort. This position is designated as an Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Information Assurance Management Level I (IAM I) position.

Requirements

  • Must possess (and be maintaining) at least one active DoD approved baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or ISC² Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) or GSLC or CISSP.
  • On day one must provide proof of certification as either ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
  • Knowledgeable of and have experience supporting DoD systems accreditation, certification, and authorization processes (e.g. DIACAP, RMF).
  • Skilled at and have experience assessing & mitigating risk in information systems.
  • Skilled at and have experience performing compliance auditing of information systems.
  • Skilled at and have experience developing and maintaining DoD information systems accreditation documentation.
  • Skilled at and have experience coordinating & leading configuration control board activities.
  • Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the CBL Battle Lab Facility.
  • Conduct dynamic network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW and IA.
  • Provide support in the form of experiments, assessments, analyses and network support.
  • Validate proposed new technical solutions to resolve known Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities Policy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps.
  • Assess and mitigate risk in information systems.
  • Perform compliance auditing of information systems.
  • Develop and maintain DoD information systems accreditation documentation.
  • Coordinate and lead configuration control board activities.
