About The Position

Bestica is seeking an Information System Security Officer to provide high-level cybersecurity and support services for the Tri-Service Research Laboratory (TSRL), Bioeffect Division (RHD), in support of the AFRL enterprise. The work includes developing, coordinating, and tracking compliance with the TSRL enterprise cybersecurity architecture, strategy, plans, and supplemental policy across the distributed AFRL organization. The contractor will provide professionally and technically qualified personnel to fulfill the task-order requirements. The role provides ISSO cybersecurity support for NIPRNet, DREN, RDTE, SIPRNet, and standalone enclaves and systems at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. The position is full-time, on the day shift, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 07:00–17:00.

Requirements

Associate of Science degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity, demonstrated by a copy of the degree.
At least one year of demonstrated experience working with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and providing cybersecurity services.
Current, valid Security Plus certification.
Required Information Technology or Cybersecurity education, training, or certifications in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and applicable Government directives, regulations, and policies for the role or labor category.
Intermediate Level Cybersecurity Work Role experience.
Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), provided to the Government Program Manager by the start of performance.

Responsibilities

Provide Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) cybersecurity support for NIPRNet, DREN, RDTE, SIPRNet, and standalone enclaves and systems.
Develop, coordinate, and track compliance with TSRL enterprise cybersecurity architecture, strategy, plans, and supplemental policy across the distributed AFRL organization.
Perform the cybersecurity tasks listed in Section 3 of the task order.
