About The Position

This is a multi-faceted information security position requiring a qualified security professional in support of multiple Rolls-Royce Defense programs and support of our corporate security standards across all sites.

Requirements

Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and experience with 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, NIST 800-53/53a, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, which requires US citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Prior ISSO and/or ISSM experience.
Working knowledge of MUSA, ISOL and WANs.
Basic knowledge of COMSEC.
Experience with Incident Response, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Disaster Recovery.
Ability to work in a teaming environment and individually.
Accurate verbal and communication skills.
DoD 8570 IAM III compliant certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.) Must be able to obtain within 3-6 months of being appointed.
Working knowledge with eMASS to include submission of systems.
Experience with Window and Linux OS as well as Virtual Machines/Zero Clients.
Experience with monitoring/hardening tools; SPLUNK, NESSUS, SCAP.

Responsibilities

Creation and execution of Assessment and Authorization artifacts (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), etc).
System self-inspections, continuous auditing, and oversight.
Sustainment activities (maintenance, hardware/software changes, account creation, assured file transfers, patching, etc).
Interface with internal and external customers on a daily or weekly cadence.
Manage time, priorities, analyze problems and provide sound solutions.
