About The Position

This role is ideal for an Information Systems professional ready to grow into a broader leadership position. At Sofo Foods, you'll work closely with executive leadership, gain exposure to all areas of Information Systems, and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth while advancing your own career. This is an on-site leadership role that offers direct engagement with team members, business leaders, and end users throughout the organization. While the position primarily follows regular business hours, occasional after-hours support for system upgrades, maintenance, and key projects is expected. These opportunities provide valuable experience with critical business systems and high-impact technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of Information Systems experience.
  • 2–3 years of project leadership or project management experience.
  • Experience supporting and enhancing ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking and network technologies.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership potential, and a desire to continue growing professionally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment and support critical business operations when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Help prioritize and manage technology projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems department.
  • Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of technology systems across Sofo Foods.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend technology solutions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all areas of Information Systems and their impact on the business.
  • Support information security initiatives to protect company systems and data.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of computer workstations and related equipment.
  • Monitor technology lifecycles and recommend upgrade and replacement plans.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and second-level technical support.
  • Partner with vendors on licensing, maintenance agreements, and technology solutions.
  • Participate in the recruitment, development, and growth of the IS team.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Communicate technology updates and initiatives across the organization.
  • Support team engagement, development, and alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure software licensing and compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist the CIO with budgeting, planning, and maintaining strong technology ROI.
