Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our IS Compliance and Security leadership team in the role of Intermediate Information Services Engineer. Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms. Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled. Provides support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting. This is a hybrid role day shift reporting to Shadeland Ave 2-3 days/week.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Experience working with hypervisors and scripting required.
  • Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
  • Cloud experience is preferred.
  • Penetration testing/Red teaming
  • Incident Response/Digital Forensics
  • Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms.
  • Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
  • Provides support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting.
  • Ensuring API Governance/security and compliance with organizational standards
  • Supporting API operations and deployments
  • Collaborating with development teams to implement best practices for API lifecycle management
