About The Position

The Information Security Technician will provide daily support for Information Security processes and services. Duties include review of application logs and alerts to identify abnormal activity, generating reports for user access certifications, gathering documentation for audit processes, and other related duties as assigned. Position is remote with traditional hours. Evening and weekend hours may be required for projects however this is minimal.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous IT experience or equivalent education required.
• Should possess good communication skills, verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field preferred.
• May be eligible for Telecommuting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily review of security logs to identify irregular activity and system changes.
• Completes tasks related to user access certifications.
• Maintains a list of departmental procedures.
• Gathers information as required for audit processes.
• Other job-related duties as assigned or directed.
